Abstract

      The study aimed to examine the degree of computer teachers’ awareness of cybersecurity at Mafraq in Jordan. To achieve the objectives of this study, the descriptive analytical approach was used through a questionnaire collected from a random sample of (113) male and female computer teachers in primary and secondary levels from Mafraq schools for the academic year 2023/2024. The results showed that the degree of computer teachers’ awareness of cybersecurity was a moderate degree; the results also showed that there were statistically significant differences between the means of the study sample’s responses of the degree of computer teachers’ awareness of cybersecurity due to the variable of the academic qualification in favor of the postgraduate studies. However, no statistically significant differences due to the variable of gender or experience. The study recommended raising cybersecurity awareness among computer teachers by organizing training workshops.
