The Role of School Principals in Ramtha Directorate of Education in Promoting the Culture of Social Security

This study aimed to identify the role of school principals in Ramtha District Education in promoting the culture of social security among students. The study followed the descriptive survey approach. The study sample consisted of (300) male and female students who were selected by the simple random method from the study community of secondary school students in government schools affiliated with the Ramtha District Education Directorate, from the academic year 2023/2024. To achieve the objectives of the study, a two-part tool was developed. The first part includes demographic information, and the second part was develped to measure the role of school principals in Ramtha District Education in promoting the culture of social security among students. The results showed that the role of school principals in Ramtha District Education in promoting the culture of social security among students was moderate for all areas. The results of the study also showed that there were no statistically significant differences between the arithmetic means of the sample members' responses at the significance level (???? ≥ 0.05) on the role of school principals in Ramtha District Education in promoting the culture of social security among students according to the study variables (class, place of residence, gender). The study revealed the presence of differences attributed to the gender variable in favor of males. In light of the results reached by the study, the researchers presented a set of recommendations, the most prominent of which is holding training workshops for school principals and students to enhance the concept of social security.
