The sudden shift to e-learning by more than 90% in emergency circumstances made the traditional education administration go through an educational crisis that requires re-planning and coordination with new partners in implementing the educational process in the required manner, and striving for the presence of the smart school of the future.
Many teachers find it difficult to transfer knowledge, skills, and values to students via electronic means, especially through distance education, because students will miss many important educational issues and values within the school environment. The research aims to know the smart school with its requirements, components, leadership, and the possibility of applying it in the public sector to keep pace with any future developments and emergencies, and using the descriptive, analytical, inductive approach to identify this school. The research concluded with some results and recommendations that contribute to the implementation of smart schools in our public schools in Jordan.
