The study aimed to identify the effect of teaching science using digital learning objects (DLOs) on achievement among fifth-grade female students in Mafraq Governorate. To achieve this goal, the experimental approach with a quasi-experimental design was implemented, where the subjects of the study consisted of (40) female fifth-grade students from one of the Northwestern Badia Directorate of Education in Mafraq/ Jordan for the first semester of the academic year 2023/2024. The school was chosen intentionally. The students were divided into two groups, the experimental group consisting of (20) students who learned the Unit od “Elements and Compounds” according to the digital learning objects strategy, while the control group, consisting of (20) students, learned the same unit according to the conventional method. The lesson plans were prepared according to the experimental method, and a test was prepared to measure the achievement of the study subjects, after verifying the validity and reliability of the test to ensure the equivalence of the two study groups. The results of the study showed a statistically significant difference between the average scores of the study subjects in the achievement test, in favor of the experimental group. In light of the results, the study recommended using digital learning objects in teaching science to the fifth grade.
