The Role of Digital Leadership in Improving the Performance of Educational Leaders in Government Educational Institutions in Mafraq District

Abstract

      The study aimed to reveal the degree of practicing digital leadership in improving the performance of educational leaders in governmental educational institutions in Mafraq Kasbah from the teachers’ point of view, and toreveal whethere the are differences in the degree of practicing digital leadership in improving the performance of educational leaders in government educational institutions in Mafraq district from the teachers' point of view due to gender and scientific qualification. To achieve the objectives of the study, a questionnaire that consisted of (20) items was  used to collect data, and its reliability and validity were verified. The sample of the study consisted of (565) male and female teachers. The descriptive survey method was employed. The study concluded that
the degree of digital leadership practice in improvingthe performance of government educational  institutions in Mafraq district in teachers' point of view  was  moderate on the study tool as a whole, and there were no statistically significant differences at the significance level (α = 0.05) attributed to the educational qualification variable, and there were statistically significant differences at the significance level (α = 0.05 attributed to the educational qualification variable and in favor of postgraduate studies. The study recommended including digital leadership skills, especially with regard to improving performance, in the programs and training courses for educational leaders held by the Jordanian Ministry of Education, especially for new principals and teachers.
