To achieve the objectives of the study, the experimental method was used with a semi-experimental design. The study sample consisted of (30) female students from the fifth grade, who were selected using the available method, and were randomly distributed into two groups: an experimental group, consisting of (15) female students who studied using the electronic software. A control group consisting of (15) female students who studied by using the traditional method. To achieve the objectives of the study, the researchers prepared a test in listening skills, consisting of (22) paragraphs and the indications of its validity and reliability were verified. The results of the study showed the presence of a statistically significant effect in favor of the experimental group, attributed to the effect of using the electronic software in developing listening skills.
