Leadership and Administrative Traits of Physical Education Teachers in the Directorate of Education for the University District and their Relationship in Reinforcing the Concept of Modern School Sports from their perspective

The study aimed at identifying the leadership and administrative traits of physical education teachers in The Directorate of Education for the University District and their relationship in reinforcing the concept of modern physical education from their perspective. The population of the study consisted of all male and female physical education teachers, the study sample included (106) male and female teachers who responded to the study tool. Through a questionnaire of two sections, the first one: to measure leadership and administrative traits which has four areas, the second one: to reinforce the concept of modern school physical education which has three areas. In order to extract the results a set of statistical procedures were utilized, the results of which found that the leadership and administrative traits of physical education teachers came to a high degree in addition to reinforcing the concept of modern school physical education, which also came to a high degree. The results of the study recommended working profoundly on the preparation and development of physical education teachers through courses and workshops that highlight leadership and creative skills in the process of education and training, and design of various sports programs that contribute to build modern concepts of physical education among participants.
