The Degree of School Principals’ Contributions in the Directorate of Education for the First Zarqa Region in Reinforcing Social Responsibility

Abstract

The study aimed to identify the contribution of schools  principals in the Directorate of Education for the First Zarqa Region from the teachers' point of view. To achieve the objectives of the study, the descriptive survey method was used. The study population consisted of (4265) primary and secondary male and female  school teachers in Zarqa First Education, and the study sample consisted of (468) male and female teachers in the Directorate of Education for the First Zarqa  Region as well. The tool to collect data was a questionnaire that consisted of  (25) items distributed on four areas. The validity and reliability of the study tool were confirmed The results indicated that the degree of contributions of school principals in the Directorate of Education for the First Zzarqa Region  from the teachers' point of view was high, as the national field came first, while  the the environmental and health field came in second place. The third place was for the moral and values field, and the social field was in the last place. The results indicated that there were no statistically significant differences due to the effect of sex and years of experience in all fields and overall degree, and that there was a  statistically  significant difference  attributed to the effect of academic qualification in all fields and the overall degree, and the differences were in favor of the bachelor’s degree.
