Obstacles to Teaching and Applying Gymnastics Course Skills from the Perspective of Students in the Department of Physical Education at Al al-Bayt University

This study aimed to identify the obstacles to teaching and applying gymnastics course skills from the point of view of students at Al al-Bayt University, The descriptive approach was used, and the study sample consisted of (63) male and female students who completed the gymnastics course from the Department of Physical Education. To collect data, a questionnaire including (60) items distributed into six areas was used. The results showed that the obstacles faced by students of the Physical Education Department that hinder teaching and applying gymnastics course skills were moderate in degree. The most prominent obstacles were related to safety, security and capabilities. There was a difference in the degree of obstacles facing the areas of psychological factors and teaching method, which hinder teaching and applying gymnastics skills, according to the gender variable, and in favor of females. The study recommended the necessity of providing security and safety aids, such as safety belts, protective gloves, and special clothing for the game.
