The Extent of the Availability of Political Values in Islamic Education Curricula in Grades (10-12) in the Sultanate of Oman

The research aimed to reveal political values that must be available in Islamic education curricula in grades (10-12) in Oman and the extnet of their availability in curricula, and to highlight the best methods for developing and inculcating them. The researcher used the inductive approach to induce the most important political values, and the descriptive approach to find out the extent of the availability of the values in the cuurricula, and the most siginificant educational styles to develop and inculate them. A questionnaire was used as a research tool. The results showed (24) political values that must be available in Islamic education curricula for grades (10-12) in Oman, and that they are available in a high level, (13) values appeared high, while (11) values appeared in
a medium level, while the highest was "belonging to one nation", while "participation in the political process (elections)" was the least. The results also showed all the proposed methods with a very high degree of importance, the highest of them "Evoking them in Quranic Evidence and Hadiths". Considering the previous results, researcher recommended to benefit from the list of political values shown in the results of the study, and include them in Islamic education curricula in different styles, and to benefit from the proposed educational methods.
