This study aimed to identify the degree to which national and civic education books contribute to awareness of the drug phenomenon from the point of view of research teachers in Mafraq, as well as to identify the differences in the opinions of members of the study sample about the degree to which national and civic education books contribute to awareness of the drug phenomenon from the perspective of research teachers in Mafraq, depending on the differences in variables (gender, practical qualifications, years of experience). To achieve the objectives of the study, the descriptive analytical approach was followed by developing a questionnaire and distributing it to a sample consisting of (23) male and female teachers of national and vocational education in basic public schools in Mafraq Governorate. They were selected by a comprehensive inventory method, due to the limited size of the study population and the ease of counting it. After conducting statistical analysis through the (SPSS) program, the results showed that there is a moderate degree of contribution of national and civic education books to raising awareness of the drug phenomenon from the point of view of the research teachers in Mafraq. The results also showed that there were no significant statistical differences at the significance level (α≤0.05) in the opinions of the study sample members about the degree to which national and civic education books contribute to raising awareness of the drug phenomenon from the point of view of research teachers in Mafraq according to personal variables (gender, practical qualification, years of experience(.
