The Effectiveness of the Moodle Program in Distance Learning from the Point of View of Faculty Members in the Faculty of Educational Sciences at Al al-Bayt University

The study aimed to identify the effectiveness of the Moodle platform in distance learning from the point of view of faculty members at the faculty of Educational Sciences at Al al-Bayt University in Mafraq Governorate. The study sample consisted of (44) faculty members in the College of Educational Sciences at Al al-Bayt University. To achieve the objectives of the study, it used the descriptive approach, and then a questionnaire was developed consisting of 30 items divided into two areas (the effectiveness of the Moodle program, and the challenges in using the Moodle program), and its validity and reliability were verified. The results showed that the degree of appreciation of the faculty members at the Faculty of Educational Sciences at Al al-Bayt University for the effectiveness of the Moodle program in distance learning came to a medium degree. The results also showed that the most important challenges facing faculty members at the Faculty of Educational Sciences at Al al-Bayt University in using the Moodle program in distance learning from their point of view is the ease of cheating, whether in tests or by submitting assignments through the Moodle program. The results also showed that there were statistically significant differences in the degree of estimation of faculty members in the Faculty of Educational Sciences at Al al-Bayt University for the effectiveness of the Moodle program in distance learning due to the effect of academic rank, in favor of (Assistant Professor), and the absence of statistically significant differences in the degree of appreciation of faculty members at the College of Educational Sciences at Al al-Bayt University for the challenges facing the use of the Moodle program in distance learning due to the effect of academic rank The study made several recommendations, the most important of which was holding training courses and workshops for all faculty members in using electronic platforms, especially Moodle to use it in teaching more effectively.
