The study aimed to identify some kinematic variables accompanied with performing the skill of two legs circular swings on the pommel horse of gymnastics players, and to identify the effect of plyometric exercises on improving physical and skill qualities of national gymnastics players. For the purposes of this study the researcher used the experimental approach as it suits the nature of this study. The sample of this study consisted of (12) national team players at the junior level who were randomly divided into two equal groups: (6) players in the experimental group and (6) in the control group. The experimental group applied the suggested plyometric exercises for six weeks, three training units a week. The researcher used Man-Whitney and Wilcoxon Signed Rank tests for data analysis. The results of the study revealed that applying plymetric exercises greatly and clearly improved the physical and skill levels for the experimental group, whereas the program didn't clearly improve the kinematic variables for both groups.
