Abstract

The study aimed to identify the reality of using modern technologies and the obstacles facing learning from the perspective of teachers in the Governorateof  Mafraq. The descriptive survey approach was used, and the sample consisted of (160) male and female computer teachers in the Governorate of Mafraq. A questionnaire consisting of (28) items was used, divided into two parts. The first part aimed to understand the reality of using modern educational technologies, while the second part addressed the obstacles facing the use of modern educational technologies in education. The results of the study showed that the use of modern educational technologies, from the perspective of computer teachers in the Governorate  of Mafraq, was moderate. The results also showed that the obstacles facing the use of modern educational technologies from the perspective of computer teachers in the Mafraq Governorate were moderate. The study recommended holding training courses for computer teachers to inform them of developments in the use of modern technologies in education.
