Abstract

Children’s literature aims to explore and highlight children's cognitive aspects by presenting literary content that aligns with their age and comprehension levels. This literature also emphasizes the importance of employing a simple and accessible presentation style to satisfy the child’s curiosity and nurture their imagination while simultaneously guiding them and instilling positive values. Children’s literature focuses on achieving various values and principles categorized under four main objectives: doctrinal, educational, pedagogical, and recreational; This study seeks to examine the extent to which Ahmed Zarzour's poetry collection A Song for the Distant Cloud realizes these objectives.
