Abstract

The study aimed to identify the role of faculty members at the universities of the Kingdom of Bahrain in achieving cybersecurity using artificial intelligence. The study followed the descriptive survey approach, and used a questionnaire consisting of (20) paragraphs to collect its data. It consisted of two axes: the attitudes of the faculty towards the use of artificial intelligence technology, and the requirements for achieving cybersecurity. Its validity and reliability were verified. The study sample consisted of (261) male and female students from the universities of the Kingdom of Bahrain, who were selected randomly. The results of the study showed that the role of faculty members at the universities of the Kingdom of Bahrain in achieving cybersecurity using artificial intelligence from the point of view of the study community was (Large) in all areas. The results of the study also showed that there were statistically significant differences between the average responses of the study sample members attributed to the variable (Gender), and the differences were in favor of the sample members from the variable (Males).

The researchers recommend "encouraging faculty members' role in enhancing cybersecurity by integrating AI technologies into curricula and training programs, and developing dedicated educational courses focused on advanced AI applications in cybersecurity".
