Abstract

The study dealt with the nature of the American foreign policy towards Afghanistan in the period (2001-2021). In this study, the descriptive analytical approach , the case study Approach and the decision-making approach were used. The problem of the study identified the nature of the American foreign policy orientations towards Afghanistan in the period (2001-2021). The study reached many results, the most important of which is: America had many declared and undeclared golas in its war on terrorism and on Afghanistan. This war was within the framework of the American domination and individuality in world countries. The study recommended the necessity to achieve security and peace in Afghanistan as well as the resulting situations after theTaliban's control over Afghanistan.
