The Image of Prince Abdullah Bin Al-Hussain in the Contemporary Sources between 1916-1946

This study aims to introduce the realistic image of Prince Abdullah Bin Al – Hussein(1916-1946) on both the personal and practical levels, his personal traits, his relationships, as well as his interest in media represented in his support for newspapers such as: the Jordanian Al - Jazerah newspaper, Al - Qiblah Al - Hijazeah and Palestinian media as Palestine newspaper and others. This study aims as well at showing military traits of prince Abdullah Bin Al - Hussein and his interests in the scientific and cultural levels, for example, his support to some of Al - Hijaz and Palestinian schools, in addition to the schools of the Emirate of Transjordan, as well as his interest in literature. The study aims at shedding light on prince Abdullah Bin Al-Hussein's true character, and the interest of Arab media men in his personality at that time. This study the nature of prince Abdullah - Bin Al - Hussein's personality and his various interests in many fields; additionally, it explained the relationship between prince Abdullah and the media men then. This study included the passion of prince Abdullah Bin Al - Hussein in athletics games and his care to practice and follow sports at the same time. This study concluded that prince Abdullah was interested in many areas on literary, athletic and political levels, which influenced his look to life and his understanding for reality, and which was reflected on his behavior in the first half of the twentieth century.
